Sandy Bassett – Vice Chair

Liaison Committee

This Chairman is looking forward to teaching, assisting members and answering questions concerning the Approved Application Project (AAP) and the Coat of Arms Project (COA-P). The Approved Application Project currently has over 82,000 approved NSCDXVIIC applications. It is our desire that these applications will help Registrars and Members with our application process. The Coat of Arms-Project has also grown to over 10,000 approved COA applications and is also available on our National website. Please consult the Registrar General’s and the National Heraldry and Coats of Arms Chairman’s Guidelines, for their requirements on using these Project’s applications.

Electronic Imagining Committee

The purpose of this Committee is the electronic preservation of all the Society’s historical records, including applications and supplementals.
By converting hard copies of documents, photos, etc. into a format that can be stored digitally, the records can be easily searched, retrieved, or shared. This benefits all stakeholders in the Society – the staff at headquarters, National
Officers and Committee Chairmen, volunteer genealogists, and members.
