The National Chairman of the Museum has the responsibility of keeping inventory of all artifacts which have been donated to the Headquarters Museum and Textile Room. She records a full description of the item, the date received, the name of the donor and the Chapter through which the donation has been made. This chairman is responsible for descripting the artifacts and display of the Museum artifacts in a binder.

Music Committee

The Music Committee Chair encourages chapters to present programs on music. In addition the National Music Chair provides the music for the National Conference, National Memorial Service and October Board of Management. She is also the director of the National Chorus.

Membership Committee

As Membership Chair we encourage Chapters to recruit new members, reach out to our local communities advertising the good deeds of our Society and keep meetings/programs interesting and fun. Ask all new prospective members about daughters or sisters who could join as applying for more than one person in a family is a very easy and quick way to increase membership.

Veterans Service Committee

Our Veterans have served their nation with honor and distinction making great sacrifices along with valiantly and selflessly devoting themselves towards the defense of the United States of America and our freedoms. State Societies and Chapters can do something to show Veterans how much we appreciate their service by providing voluntary assistance to these heroes. This is one way to show your patriotism on behalf of our organization which was founded on our love of country and of our ancestors who fought for our precious freedoms.

Long Range Planning Committee

As established in Article VIII, Section 14 of the National Bylaws, the duties of the Long Range Planning Committee are two-fold. First, the Committee is to “determine the important priorities of the Society over a period of ten (10) to twenty (20) years.” Second, the Committee is to “research these priorities and determine if they are feasible for the Society.”

Junior Membership Committee

A goal for every chapter should be to encourage members to recruit and retain their young family members and friends between the ages of eighteen (18) and thirty-six (36). Chapter projects which attract the interest of younger members is a huge plus. Juniors are essential for the growth and preservation of our Society. Chapters should make every effort to design activities that allow junior participation and, at the same time, educate all members about our Society.
